Where did the name Q-Designs come from?? As a young visual communications student, I was called...Susie Q...of course! My teacher, Mr. Zelenak, had shortened his name to just 'Z' so mine was promptly shortened to 'Q'! Mr. Z was so very dear to me (and still is...) with his inspiration & encouragement so it was natural for me to name my company Q-Designs Photography, with the design part meaning; that I believe, images are designed by the photographer capturing them. And so, Q is me!!
